Industry Partners
Summerfruit Australia works in partnership with state and regional grower associations, Hort Innovation, government agencies and research partners to deliver outcomes for Australian summerfruit growers.
Working together for growers
Partnerships that put your industry first.
No single organisation can drive meaningful change for the summerfruit sector alone. Summerfruit Australia works alongside state and regional associations, Hort Innovation, government agencies and research partners to ensure growers have access to the best knowledge, support and advocacy available.
The strength of these relationships flows directly to the orchard through better funded R&D, faster biosecurity responses, and a unified voice in markets at home and abroad.

Plant Health Australia Incursion management
Incursion management consists of responses to Emergency Plant Pests (EPPs) to limit their potential impact on Australia’s primary producers and allied/downstream industries and businesses, our environment, and communities. This is achieved through early detection and reporting of suspected EPPs, enabling a prompt, and coordinated response to contain and potentially eradicate the pest. What constitutes an EPP is defined within the Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed (EPPRD).
Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed
The Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed (EPPRD) is a government-industry partnership, outlining the national governance and investment in responding to and eradicating emergency plant pests (EPP). Under the EPPRD, impacted growers may also be eligible for reimbursement of certain costs or losses on account of response activities, known as owner reimbursement costs (ORCs).
