Nominations now open for Summerfruit Australia Ltd Board

Nominations are now open for four (4) positions on the board of directors of the national peak body for Summerfruit, Summerfruit Australia Ltd.

Chairperson Dean Morpeth said “nominations are now being sought from current Summerfruit Growers.  Our Industry has spent 12 months in a reset and refresh period, and we are now ready to move out of that phase and into the development and implementation phase.  We require committed and dedicated individuals who will drive SAL to be a powerful PIB by delivering on domestic and international growth, advocacy, and the development of industry standards.”

The successful candidates will be become a member of the Board of Directors of Summerfruit Australia Ltd with the positions being a two year term.

Current Directors are Dean Morpeth, Frank Frappa, Tony  Dudgell, Scott Coupland, Tim Greiger, Anthony Caccetta & Scott Dunk.

Tim Greiger (SA), Tony Dudgell (QLD) and Anthony Caccetta (WA) are mid-term and will all remain on the SAL Board.  Dean Morpeth, Frank Frappa, Scott Dunk & Scott Coupland have indicated that they are renominating as they reach the end of their current term.

We are specifically seeking nominations to cover the states of Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales.
